About
Meet Caleb Bonneville
Founder · Craftsman · Problem Solver
Caleb Bonneville is a lifelong local, hands-on craftsman, and problem solver with a background in construction, property maintenance, mechanical work, and fabrication throughout the Sierra Nevada region.
Caleb attended Forest Charter School and Sierra College in Truckee, all while working and building his experience from an early age. Having spent his life in the region, he understands the demands that mountain weather, changing seasons, and the unique character of local homes place on property owners.
Outside the trades, Caleb pursued competitive motocross, desert racing, and snowboarding. His accomplishments include winning the 2019 California Nevada Interscholastic Ski and Snowboard Federation (CNISSF) boys' slalom state championship, earning two silver medals at the 2018 state championships, winning the Tom Sims Retro World Championships, and claiming championship victories in the MRANN desert racing series.
His dedication to competition earned him sponsorships from Flow Snowboards, Neff, and US Airbag in snowboarding, as well as O'Neal in motocross. Those years of competition taught him the value of preparation, precision, adaptability, and perseverance — qualities he carries into his work every day.
From troubleshooting mechanical problems to repairing older homes and maintaining properties through harsh Sierra Nevada winters, Caleb enjoys understanding how things work and finding practical, lasting solutions. He believes in doing things properly, paying attention to the details, and taking responsibility for the finished product.
Caleb founded Bonneville Built to create a company grounded in honest communication, quality craftsmanship, and personal accountability. His goal is to build lasting relationships with customers, serve the community he calls home, and establish a reputation that speaks for itself.
For Caleb, it's about more than completing a job. It's about doing work he can stand behind, earning people's trust, and building something that lasts.
Local roots. A competitive mindset. Craftsmanship built to last.

How we work
Show up when we say
A scheduled window means a scheduled window. If something slips, you hear it from us first.
Leave it cleaner
Drop cloths, shop vac, hauled debris. The only trace left is the finished work.
Say no when it is not our job
If a job needs a licensed electrician or a structural engineer, we will tell you and point you to one.
